I have an incredible memory, I amaze people by the amount of info I can recollect of them/the past and other things. But it’s not a skill to be learned, it’s an ability you are born with. This includes photographic memory, where you ’see’ visual graphics and have sensory/spatial recognition to remember things in your surroundings. Photographic memory in other terms is called ‘Eidetic Memory’, and basically people (or myself speaking) can see images of whatever they recall about the subject at hand. This not only is limited to the subject, but associated topics and events also arise.
Usually when people are talking to me, sometimes I am focusing on them and also times where I am looking at the floor or elsewhere, not because I am not paying attention or avoiding something, it’s because I am looking back to whatever event or image in my mind.
Although it’s definitely a exceptional trait, it also has it’s disadvantages. As for myself, my mind can get distracted, or because I can remember everything… it’s really bad to remember negative periods in my life. I think about the past although, not that I dwell but memories flash before my eyes out of nowhere. It’s hard that I can’t describe this to most people.
Eidetic memory, and other memory related traits are thought to be linked to disorders like "autism" and etc. But research is currently being done on these conditions. But if you think you have a gift or someone you think does, you should visit a neurologist to get a MRI of that individual’s brain.
I think you born with one, but you can easily imitate it by concentrating whole heartidly, figuring out your learning type (e.g. visual, hearing, abstract etc.) and revising it 12 hours later/ before you go to sleep.

Hope I helped.
I’m pretty sure you have to be born with one.
You can’t attain one, you have to be born with it. Sorry, nothing you can do.
