Do I have photographic memory?
I can look at a page of vocab and thats it right before a test and can ace it. Its not the same with pictures and stuff, just pages of info I can picture in my mind. Is it photographic memory or something else. I can also memorize lots of info and remember it for a long time. Just wondering.
It’s a photographic memory if you can picture the paper in your mind and read it as if it’s right in front of you. If you can’t actually see them paper with the words and definitions in your mind and read it, then you just have a really good memory.
A true photographic memory doesn’t psychologically exist.
Photographic memory is basically the ability to recall images, sounds, or objects in memory with extreme accuracy and in great amounts. The trick is, the typical brain does not have enough room/space to do everything it does, AND have a photographic memory. This is why photographic memory is often found in people who have lees mental capabilities. People who are mentally challenged may have photographic memory because their brain is so open and has room for it. But, some cases of photographic memory are found in adults as well. so yes, it is a possibility that you are one of the few that has a photographic memory!!
