A. Explicit Memory
B. Implicit Memory
C. Flashbulb Memories
D. Eidetic Imagery

Aways wanted one. Is there anyway way to get one?

I think is the first question I’ve asked on here. I’m working on a novel, so I actually have a lot of questions, but I’m just giving yahoo ask a twirl.

If a person has photographic/eidetic memory and something traumatic happened to them (i.e. a car wreck) would that person be likely to forget/block it out or would it be worse than normal (meaning, a detailed, permanent recollection)?

I think I have photographic memory (Eidetic memory)
i havent really looked into it but ever since i was little ive always been able to remember a sequence of numbers and see it in my head. especially when i have tests i close my eyes and picture my notes.

i dont know if everyone is like this. it how ive always been. but my mom says i have photographic memory?
is it an actual thing that you can have. Can you be dominant for photographic memory is what im asking.

Also can it be passed down in your family, because supposedly my uncle had it?

I have been visualizing words into pictures
to help me remember them, this is useful for remembering
grocery lists ect. but recently ive been visualizing just for fun
trying out 3d images and sounds and smells tastes and feels
i notice sometimes i can recall an image in ok detail actually
seeing the picture in my mind, but not with all the details that are actually there
if i continue to develop my visualization skills will this give me a "photographic" memory?

How does a photographic memory work?
Ok…yeah than I must have that. Just realized the reason my memory was sketchy before was because I have ADD and was never treated. I also have CP and assumed that was the reason for my memory problems.

I was wondering if theirs any way to gain a photographic memory. Like training exercises. Or websites that have training programs.
