i was just curious if i have photographic memory. i usually remember how people look like but not the name. i remember the things written in handouts and books and i can also recognize people’s handwriting. also in scary movies…or like murder pictures…i usually remember them a lot(that’s why i dint like watching them) i remember bits and pieces of places but im bad with sense of direction ^_^ once i see something familiar though i know it.
if i do, then how rare is it for a person to have it?

OK, I’m sure this question sure caught your attention and you’re about to put something hilarious down, but if you have an answer please put it down ^_^’ … but anyway, it puzzles me how people can just look at something and remember detail so quickly.
Are they just born with it, or is this their hard work and achievements over many years [or just both]?
But anyway, I want a photographic memory! =] ha ha, you’re probably thinking "not gonna happen"

If there is no way, is there any way to get better memory?

Her teacher said that she may have a photographic memory, how could I find out if this is true?

Or atleast get close to it as much as possible. Any training ideas for the memory?

i don’t want no for an answer like there no such thing and you cant do stuff like that i just want to know to to get a photographic memory inserted in my brain in Oman or even put surgery in Oman and money has no value to me so i will give as much as it takes and i also want the address or at least name of the company or person and i don’t want to buy it online only in face to face and also if this question is in the wrong section please tell that.

How would their memory be affected by amnesia? Would they be able to remember more things than others? Or, would they only be able to remember emotionally stimulating events?

I can remember so many things with so many "odd", specific details. When I remember things, I usually see people or things exactly as they were. I never knew if I had a "photographic" memory. Share your experiences, and I’ll compare!
